The hard truth
Hard work alone
is enough.
is not enough.
I see it every week in San Antonio.
Hardworking kids still plateau.
Same speed as last year.
Still getting beat to the ball.
Still watching from the bench.
The problem isn't their effort. It's that they're following a program that wasn't built for where their body actually is right now.
Generic programs produce generic athletes. We don't.
Between ages 7 and 16, your athlete's body has a narrow window to build the speed, power, and coordination that defines what kind of athlete they become. Train it right and the ceiling rises. Miss it and the ceiling gets set — permanently.

7–16
The development window.
It closes. Don't miss it.
The Lab Method
Every age. A different plan.
Select your athlete's age range to see exactly how Coach Mike trains them — and why it matters.
Based on long-term athletic development principles.

Learn to Move Right
This is where it all begins. At The Lab, we wire in the correct sprint mechanics, footwork, and body control during the years the nervous system is most receptive. Most programs skip this. We don't.
What we build at The Lab:
- Proper sprint mechanics & acceleration
- Footwork, agility & change-of-direction
- Coordination drills built for young athletes
- Confidence through early wins
The cost of skipping this:
Skip this stage and bad habits get locked in permanently.
